Energy Quotes publishes original Australian explainers, not spun product copy. If you can add a documented consumer angle we do not already cover, pitch it here.
The reconstructed site is a long-form masthead. Guest work has to earn a place next to the existing guides: 1,000 words or more, Australian English, and useful to a household or small business facing a real tariff decision.
What we want
- Reported explainers on tariffs, concessions, solar self-consumption, meters or ombudsman processes.
- State-specific pieces that do not pretend WA, Tasmania or regional Queensland work like Sydney.
- First-person accounts only when you can document dates, retailers and outcomes without naming neighbours.
House rules
- Original work. We run similarity checks and reject spun or previously published posts.
- Australian English, metric units, cents per kilowatt hour, megajoules for gas.
- Cite the Australian Energy Regulator, Essential Services Commission, Energy Made Easy or the relevant ombudsman rather than a blog round-up.
- No invented “cheapest retailer this month” tables.
- Paid, affiliate or guest-post commercial links are published with
rel="sponsored". Do not hide them in anchor text such as “click here”. - Images must be Creative Commons or public domain, with a credit line we can reprint on the credits page.
How to pitch
Send a headline, a 150-word outline, your conflict of interest, and any commercial URL you hope to include. The form below posts to our /api/contact desk at support@worldwidebacklinks.com. We reply when a pitch is a fit; silence after three weeks means a pass.
Read the editorial standards before you draft. For a sense of voice, start with how to compare electricity plans in Australia.
Guest post pitch
Required fields only. Do not attach account numbers or identification documents.
Frequently asked questions
Do you pay for guest posts?
We commission a small number of reported explainers. Unsolicited pitches are unpaid unless we agree a fee in writing before drafting.
Can I include a link to my business?
One relevant resource link may be considered. Commercial or affiliate URLs are published with rel="sponsored" and must be disclosed in the pitch.
What topics are closed?
Retailer ranking tables we cannot independently verify, crypto-energy schemes, and anything that tells a reader to ignore Energy Made Easy or an ombudsman.
