Energy is a regulated essential service. Our explainers have to be careful in a way that a quote-form landing page never was.
Independence
Energy Quotes is not owned by a retailer. We do not let an advertiser review copy before publication. Where we mention a commercial product, the reader should still be able to use Energy Made Easy or Victorian Energy Compare without us.
Sources
Prefer primary sources: the Australian Energy Regulator, the Essential Services Commission, AEMO, state concession pages, ombudsman schemes and the energy laws they enforce. Retailer blogs are marketing until proven otherwise. DMO and VDO figures in our guides are labelled with the financial year they belong to.
What we will not publish
- Unverifiable “cheapest plan in Australia” claims.
- Advice to skip a cooling-off period, hardship team or ombudsman.
- Medical or financial advice disguised as a tariff tip.
Corrections
Email support@worldwidebacklinks.com or use the contact form. Material errors get a note on the article. Quiet copy-edits for spelling do not.
