About Energy Quotes

We publish independent, long-form guides so Australians can compare electricity and gas plans with a clear head — the job the old quote-form sites promised and rarely explained.

Energyquotes.com.au belonged to a generation of Australian sites that asked for a postcode and a phone number and promised a cheaper power deal. The Wayback Machine snapshot of that era is no longer reachable for this rebuild, so we inferred the brief from the domain itself: energy quotes, written for households and small businesses in Australia.

The reconstructed publication keeps the comparison-era voice — practical, slightly impatient with marketing copy, allergic to “up to 30% off” without a fact sheet — and expands it into the explainers people actually search for. How does the Default Market Offer work? When is a high feed-in tariff a trap? What changes if you live in Western Australia?

We are not a retailer, a broker or a switching engine. Where a government comparator exists, we send you there first: Energy Made Easy outside Victoria, and Victorian Energy Compare inside it. Our editorial standards explain how we handle accuracy, corrections and sponsored links.

What we cover

Electricity and gas retail, solar and batteries, meters and bills, small-business contracts, concessions and hardship, and the awkward fact that the National Electricity Market is not the whole country. Start at the guide library or a topic hub such as electricity plans.

Contact

Editorial and reader mail goes through the contact form to support@worldwidebacklinks.com. We do not handle retailer account queries, meter faults or emergency supply — call your distributor in a supply emergency, or your retailer for the account you already have.
